WELCOME
Daniel A. Cross received his law degree from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon,
in 1993. Mr. Cross attained his B.A. degree in political science from Reed College in Portland, Oregon, in 1989. For the last
twelve years, Mr. Cross' practice has emphasized criminal and juvenile defense, family law, and personal injury matters on
both the trial court and appellate court levels. Mr. Cross has been a frequent speaker at legal seminars put on by the Oregon
Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Cross has served on the Board of Directors of the Oregon Criminal Defense
Lawyers Association since 2002 and, in addition, is currently serving as the President. Mr. Cross regularly appears
in Washington, Multnomah, Tillamook, Clatsop, Columbia, and Clackamas counties.

LEGAL EXPERIENCE
Mr. Cross began his legal career with the Portland, Oregon firm of Bertoni & Todd as a certified legal intern
in June 1992 while he was still in law school. Upon passing the Bar in 1993 he remained with the firm as an Associate
Attorney through 1999, serving as the Senior Associate from 1997 through 1999. Mr. Cross moved his practice to
Hillsboro, Oregon in January 2000, establishing the firm of Cross & Lurtz. In January of 2003, Mr. Cross became
a Sole Practitioner establishing his office at its current location near the Washington County Courthouse. Before entering
the legal profession, Mr. Cross worked in sports radio at KFXX in Portland, Oregon, as a producer and as an on-air host.
